Grids – once more

Because we still aren't fed up with grids: Antonio of the AisleOne blog announced the introduction of «The Grid System». He writes:

It’s basically an ever-growing resource site on the topic of grid systems and anything associated to it, like the golden ratio and baseline grids.

www.thegridsystem.org will provide links, articles, tools, books, templates and other related stuff. He wants it

… to be a one stop shop for all designers to learn about grid systems, how to design them and how to use them.

After I had clicked the website's «Show Grid» button I just thought: There's no doubt that it must have been a painful process to create a real grid based website which is rendered correctly in – at least – the most common browsers.

To guarantee for the quality of the presented collection of books, he partnered up with YouWorkForThem. It's also planned to add discussion boards to allow sharing views on the controversal discussed role of grid systems in graphic design. So, check out «The ultimate resource in grid systems».
